You will need a tape measure, a piece of cord, or a strip of paper (Alternatively: you can download this template).
Wrap your measuring tool around the finger where you will wear the ring. If you are creating a ring combination, first determine where the ring will be on your finger and measure there. Use a pen to mark where the references overlap.
Place your piece of cord or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length to the mark. Multiply this length by 3.141 to get the ring size you desired.
With your Ring
Choose your favorite ring that already fits perfectly on your finger.
Measure the inner diameter of the ring in millimeters (mm).
This length is multiplied by 3.141 and you get the desired ring size.
